Terms of Service

Last updated: April 28, 2026

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Pulsar Deploy ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

These terms apply to all users of Pulsar Deploy, including users who contribute content, information, or other materials or services.

Description of service

Pulsar Deploy is a self-hosted deployment platform that allows you to deploy web applications from GitHub repositories to your own infrastructure. The Service includes:

  • GitHub integration for automatic deployments
  • Build pipeline management using Nixpacks
  • Environment variable management with encryption
  • Custom domain and SSL certificate provisioning
  • Deployment history, logs, and rollback capabilities
  • Health monitoring and email notifications

Your account

To use Pulsar Deploy, you must authenticate via GitHub OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your GitHub account and any access tokens associated with the Service.

You must notify us immediately at team@pulsardeploy.com of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Pulsar Deploy to:

  • Deploy or host illegal content or services
  • Distribute malware, spyware, or other harmful software
  • Conduct phishing, fraud, or deceptive activities
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other systems
  • Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it

Your content and data

You retain full ownership of all code, data, and content you deploy through Pulsar Deploy. Your code is deployed to infrastructure you own and control — it never passes through our servers.

By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your repository metadata and build information solely for the purpose of providing the deployment service.

Intellectual property

The Pulsar Deploy software, including its source code, design, and documentation, is owned by Pulsar Deploy and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

We do not warrant that deployments will be successful, that build pipelines will complete without errors, or that SSL certificates will provision without delay.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pulsar Deploy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data or deployment failures
  • Service downtime or unavailability
  • Unauthorized access to your deployments
  • Costs of substitute services

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may delete your account and all associated data from the platform settings.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service for users who violate these Terms of Service, without prior notice.

Changes to terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by displaying a notice on the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal remedies.
